The Barony of Sahde

Approaching the Ward.

Arath walks into the Sahde Embassy and stops just inside the ward. His eyes follow the line of mud into the back of the embassy. He moves slowly through the embassy, pausing for a moment by a chair that seems covered in mud, and then to the missive post, where another large clumping of mud has settled.

Anais takes a seat...

Anais takes a seat at a table, lowering her bag to the floor beside her and leaning forward to untie a strap holding a large axe onto her back. She also removes a smaller axe and a rune-covered sword from the belt at her waist, laying the three weapons on the table. She wipes her dirty hands on her mud-stained skirt and frowns down at herself. Her nose wrinkles slightly as a grin spreads across her lips. With a soft laugh, she reaches down into her bag and begins pulling items out.

Uzi hesitates for a moment, and then knocks on the door, stomping his feet free of mud, and shuffling in the cold, while waiting for a response from within.

A mud-elf approaches the Embassy...

The mud-elf, upon reaching the Embassy, pushes back her hood to reveal that she is NOT, in fact, a mud-elf but is instead, simply the errant Anais. She stomps her feet on the stone-flagged porch, dried mud flying from her boots to litter the ground. The hems of her skirts are a crusty, dirty brown, hanging limply from her form under the weight of even more mud. She lowers the outer ward and steps inside, raising the ward behind her. Glancing around the empty room, she moves towards the door...
